Love is in the air at these South Yorkshire venues...
We are spoilt for choice here in South Yorkshire for gorgeous venues, we’ve sent out some marvellous mood boards and quotes the past couple of weeks for these 5 stunning venues, super lucky to have the opportunity to hopefully work with these amazing spaces.
Elsham Hall - not far from Leafy Couture South Yorkshire, Elsham Hall is run by the amazing Heidi who is super cool, her energy is just magnetic. Elsham Hall has recently had a beautiful make over - Exposed brick, original beams, vaulted ceilings within the Grade II listed Barn, provide the perfect setting for an unforgettable day. A gorgeous idea for Elsham Hall would be wild & whimsical columns of lush foliage with pops of cream and pale pink florals in front of the beautiful brickwork to create. I would carry this theme on with a table runner consisting of varying height cylinder vases with florals and foliage interspersed with romantic taper candles in soft pink and cream.
Hooton Pagnall Hall - Hooton Pagnall Hall oozes elegance. This gorgeous private family home is a hidden gem surrounded by rolling green hills, with space for an outdoor ceremony and gorgeous gardens its perfect for a quintessential British garden party wedding. We are super excited to be back again in the Autumn for a super gorgeous wedding. The last time Leafy Couture South Yorkshire was at Hooton Pagnall Hall it was for a vibrant and colourful wedding of dreams - with hot pinks, oranges and pops of yellow which paired perfectly against the summer sunshine for the outdoor ceremony.
The Mowbray - This unique, historical building in the centre of Sheffield has been lovingly renovated and turned in to a stunning event space. With subtle nods to the buildings history, the interior design is just incredible, nothing else compares to the charm of The Mowbray. We would love to go full botanical at The Mowbray - tropical palm leaves, trailing plants and bright pops from Anthuriums to give a Hanging Gardens of Babylon vibe. The strong textures and colours against the industrial feel of The Mowbray would give a super modern and sleek vibe.
Owston Hall - This period feature hotel is up there with one of the most romantic venues in South Yorkshire. With high ceilings, sweeping staircases and sash windows that flood the rooms with light you can get swept away in your very own Bridgerton fantasy. Timeless and elegant gorgeously scented blousy white roses paired with soft green foliages would be my go to for Owston Hall. Creating high and low arrangements for the tables to make the most of the gorgeous elevated ceilings, paired with groupings of taper candles to give a beautiful soft late into the evening.
Tankersley Manor - This 17th Century manor house is surrounded by picturesque landscapes in the heart of South Yorkshire. Wether your looking for an intimate elopement or big old party Tankersley Manor is so well suited with its range of different rooms. Leafy Couture South Yorkshire created flowers for a recent photoshoot with Kyle Glover Photography - think disco balls a plenty, neon lights, ribbons and joy. We created gorgeous floral headpieces, button holes and bouquets as well as modern, colourful table arrangements. The dappled light from oodles of candles and the neon sign paired with the mirror balls created a romantic ambience that created the perfect backdrop for the florals.
If you are getting married at any of the above venues or any venue in South Yorkshire please do get in touch to chat about your flowery vision and how we can make that dream into a reality,
Lots of Leafy loves
