What a total blast it was teaming up with some of Yorkshire's coolest suppliers for a Botanical Spring photoshoot at Iron Lilies, captured by the amazing Alex Bates Photography.

Iron Lilies is a real gem! Nestled by the water, the moment you walk in, you're transported to a lush botanical wonderland with vines and tall palms.

When thinking about what flowers to choose, I wanted to keep the overall look fresh and vibrant to complement the surroundings. Being Spring time, I was spoiled for choice when it came to choosing blooms.

We chose a soft colour palette of creams, buttery yellows, whites and peachy pops to compliment the greenery of Iron Lilies. Elliegantly Made Celebration Cakes created this absolute masterpiece - hand crafting the sugar flowers. It's so hard to believe that they are not real flowers, such as talent.

Bright and beautiful tulips, scented garden roses, delicate narcissi, chamomile, Hellibores, Cantebury bells, Daucus and textured Grevillea were the flowers of choice.

The delicate appliqué florals that adorn the exquisite dress from Elizabeth Hall Bridal needed something soft, feminine and romantic to match so I selected a rich mixture of textures, colours and scents gave the bouquet a romantic and natural feel, as did the amazing hair and make up by Makeup by Vivienne Blackledge - It was giving laid back feminine city chic energy.

We included citrus pops with oranges and juicy green grapes to tie in the vibrant stationary by Leopard Cherries Design with its orange and green tones.

There's nothing I love more than creating beautiful bespoke wedding florals totally tailored to you so get in touch today for a free consultation about how I can make your flowery dreams a reality
